Urban Regeneration | Vò (PD), Italy

The redevelopment of the square project faces urban regeneration issues from the distributive, technical and architectural points of view starting from a broader view of the area in question.
Along with the main square Piazza Liberazione, two adjacent urban spaces, Piazza Martiri and Piazza Spolverato are redesigned to create a united urban area given mostly to pedestrians. The design project is considering the presence of two important points of the town: the church Parrocchia Maria Ausiliatrice and large campus with primary and secondary schools on via Mazzini. The two centers of activity, religious and educational, are included into the new configuration of the Piazza Liberazione as hinges of the broader system of urban structure and activities.
